I had a 2 seater seat with 3/8" threaded legs that used coil inserts. Inserts with these bushings were placed directly into the threads of the larger spool while being perfectly driven into the tree. flashes and works great allowing my wife to easily move the 2 seater sofa across the carpet as she likes to do from time to time.
