I had a prehistoric device for tens that I got from my father in 2010 after back surgery and that I used sometimes for pain relief. While it works well to date, it just wasn't comfortable, the wires would come loose if I moved the wrong way, and it was very difficult to try to reconnect, especially when already strapped to my back. and let's not talk about the sticky pads that you should put in the right places for pain relief. From the warmth to the adjustable strap, however, this unit is quite comfortable, and the remote that lets you adjust from high to low isn't just convenient. but relieves pain much faster than the prehistoric entity. I would recommend this device to anyone who has had surgery or just needs typical back pain for relief.
