Even taking into account the marriage (which may be a flaw or a sign of frailty), the hand does not go below four stars. Keeping up a fantastic sound The benefits of it include: The first thing that comes to mind is, of course, the sound. The sound quality is fantastic, as one would expect from Audeze's planars. The experience of playing games, listening to music, and watching movies inside of them is highly pleasurable. Comfort. They fit like a glove despite the size of my head, which is rather huge. The amount of pressure that is being applied to the head is just right, and the ear pads are a good fit. People who have really small heads might have difficulties, but I had no such issues and found the convenience to be beyond praise. I wore it for several days straight without experiencing any discomfort. Simply plugging in the connection triggers everything to begin operating, and they function "out of the box" in Windows as well as Linux and Android. Waves's function with simulated 3D sound was one that caught my attention. This could be a pointless whistle for some people, but I found it to be quite enjoyable. Its cons: For individuals who do not have a strong sound card or headphone amplifier, the fact that they have their own DAC will be an advantage; nevertheless, I find this to be more of a disadvantage for myself. Especially when you take into account the fact that this DAC has a trace of background noise. The noise is more of a nitpick because it can only be heard in an empty room and when there is no sound coming from the headphones themselves. Additionally, in general, the noise is most audible when the headphones are turned on and off. The second drawback is a natural consequence of the first: despite the absence of bluetooth, the headphones have an internal battery, and you cannot send sound through the AUX connection to bypass your own DAC. This means that you cannot listen to music with the headphones if the battery is dead, which is not the case with most bluetooth headphones that include an aux input. However, these are minor flaws that can be forgiven due to the fact that they are Audeze's least expensive planar headphones (especially taking into consideration the fact that I purchased them at a discount for 17k, which included a bonus from the retailer). Now for the downside, which is the reason I deducted one star. After (nearly) a month of use, a rustling sound could be heard coming from one of the headphones whenever the bowl was moved or pressed. The issue was the same for a number of others who unsubscribed here; nonetheless, she did not pass me. It would appear that the sound did not become more severe as a result of this, and if you remain motionless, you won't even be able to hear the rustle; nonetheless, a) it is unfortunate, and b) there is no assurance that the sound won't become more severe in the future. Now I've sent it in for warranty repair, so we'll see how it goes.
