As an IT professional at a 4 campus school and with a lot of networking experience I can tell you that it's well worth the extra money you spend compared to other cheaper brands, like tp link or others in the same quality range. The build quality and the stable connection really speak for themselves. Considering my desktop is upstairs and 3 rooms away from my Archer C7 router with lots of walls in between, the range it picks up is amazing. I ran a speed test and repeatedly got a ping of no less than 11ms and no more than 13ms. The download speed remains stable at 117 Mbps while the upload speed is around 11.5 Mbps. I'm paying for a 100Mbps connection so that's the max I'm paying for and more. All actual downloads remain consistent and stable, and live games work like a charm. I heartily recommend this instead of a cheap USB power adapter because it's the bastard of them all. I have used several.
