Heavy, durable, well made

This pen is an absolutely fantastic bargain. At around 5.3" long it's not exactly a pocket pen, but it fits well enough clipped in the front pocket of a pair of jeans (much as you would a pocket knife). The clip is a formed strip of stainless steel, screwed to the body tube with two small screws, making is easy to remove and reshape if it gets bent.The bolt handle is threaded into the bolt itself and should be relatively easy to remove if necessary, though I've not had reason to try yet…

Cool novelty pen. for my opinion

The mechanism of this pen is pretty cool. The bolt action design is easy to work and easy to fix if it should malfunction. Brass shell is heavy. It a tusll made my hand sore for a few days getting used to the weight. Also, if you happen to drop the pen, it most always will compress the ball bearing in the tip of the ink stick, which will cause the ink to not be able to come out, effectively making the pen unable to write. At $3 per ink cartridge, dropping this pen can get expensive.Pros-The pen

Heavy Duty: my feedback

I love this pen. Will definitely buy another Bastion in the future. Swapped out the ink with one of those Space Pen cartridges and it writes like a dream. Love fiddling with the bolt mechanism. Only potential draw back would be the weight. I love the weight of it, makes it feel sturdy to me, but a good number of people that have used it have commented that it’s too heavy for their preferences.

Feels great in the hands!

I have both the copper and the stainless steel version. I am COMPLETELY in love with them! I had carpal tunnel surgery several years ago and I find that holding a regular pan causes me to grip too hard and I end up with sore hands. The weight of these pens makes writing so incredibly easy! Expensive. Worth it?

Build: its a gorgeous pen made out of real titanium with a sturdy pocket clip and a really strong, crisp bolt action opening. The design looks amazing, love the aesthetics of the pen and the provided gel insert writes well enough, I'd prefer a finer tip so will be replacing this one.Writing: even though I spent extra for the full titanium expecting it to be light enough to use for long times I was sadly mistaken. It's very top heavy because of the bolt action mechanism and it becomes very slick

Great Pen outside of the clip falling of and loosing it

So I just purchased this pen. It arrived on Sunday and here it is Tuesday and the clip is gone! Can Bastion send me a free replacement clip and screws. I cant see why after 2 days the screws would come loose. Its a great pen but the clip just falling off sucks. I would have given it 5 stars for everything if it wasn't for the screws falling out and loosing the clip.

AWESOME! Ive bought 5 in the last 6 months (4 for me one as a gift)

These look and feel great. I have Copper , Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Black Stainless Steel. My least Favorite is actually the Titanium because it does have weight to it. But it'd be best if writing a lot. These things look REALLY cool. And im sure will last a lifetime. I no longer run through crappy pens I lose.I never lose these, plan on keeping these for life. Only change is just buy the Parker refill and change it out when you get the pen. The one it comes with isn't bad, but the Parker

Awesome pen! best in my review

this is the coolest pen I own, I always need to have a pen on me for work and I tend to brake them all in the field, I don't think I could hurt this pen if I tried, I bought the solid copper version. its super heavy which I like, but its not a top shirt pocket pen it would be to heavy. At first I couldn't figure out how to unscrew the pen the seam is so tight you cant tell where it unscrews which is super cool. id highly recommend this pen the quality is exceptional.

ive been using this pen for a few months now. i personally got the black one, so i could engrave my initials on it. this thing weighs in at 2.7 oz/.17 lbs. the main reason i got this pen was because people kept stealing my pens at work, hasnt happened since with this sleek chunk of metal. after a few days of use, i got use to the weight.also have gotten alot of compliments on it.only thing i can note that is a bit of a downside is the replacement cartridges can be defective. I love this pen good for me

I've been using this daily for several months now and I love this pen. I replaced the ink cartridge with a Fisher refill, SPR4B, as soon as I received it. The Fisher cartridge fit fine. I carried a CRKT Tao pen for many years until I lost it last year. In my opinion this pen is a massive upgrade. I like the weight of the pen, 3oz, and the action started smooth and has gotten smoother. I never had the screws on the clip loosen but after a couple of weeks I took them out and put a bit of Loctite…

Recently picked up this beauty in the copper version and it was love at first click. It is satisfyingly heavy and the action is super crisp. Can’t wait for the patina to develop. Definitely a "must have” for all you pen-ophiles.

The pen is great but, the ink cartridge that comes in it, not so much. I ended up going to the fisher space pen website, and buying one of their cartridges. Made a huge improvement on the pen.
