Very nice strainer. I like the deep removable cup and separate stopper vs. having the strainer and stopper in one (those never seemed to work properly). They look professional (if that makes sense), industrial is probably a better description and they function perfectly. I'd order again!

Love this item! It was super easy to install, even for a plumbing novice as myself. It also looks beautiful and matches the brushed stainless Moen faucet set I purchased. Having an easy-to-remove basket for food debris is the best invention yet. I don't know how I managed prior!

I just can't figure out why it has been over 50 years, and I've just now found this sink basket. You'd think someone would have made this before, and it would have put all of the crappy ones out of business. The only down side is that you will want to change all of your sink strainers.

These are so much better than the standard units . you can do a lot of cleaning before you have to dump the strainer. I am very happy with this

This sink strainer was a pleasant find indeed. First, the brushed finish looks very nice. Second, it was one of the easiest plumbing installs I have ever done. Finally, we really like the feature of the deep, removable strainer basket. If you need to replace your sink strainer, I highly recommend this one.

This only works with stainless steel sinks. The outer thread is really short so you cannot screw in the flange if your sink is thicker than stainless steel. I had granite composite and it didn't fit. Had to buy Kraus. The design and price is good on this one. It feels sturdy and well made.

One of the neatest things I found for the kitchen remodel. I love the little baskets that trap all manner of veggie scraps and etc. A friend saw ours, and we subsequently installed a set at her house! The installation instructions were clear, and the overall construction is solid.

The deep cup strainer, which lifts out with a little bail works very well. It is much more functional for catching food scraps than the shallow strainer in most sinks. Maybe there are other products like this out there, I don't know. But no one ever told me about them, if there are.

I purchased the sink basket for heavy duty use in an area where we do not have garbage disposals or dishwashers. The large basket is perfect to catch the residue from dish washing, fruit and vegetable cleaning and anything else that goes into the sink. The lid fits snugly keeping water in the sink.I have just had the misfortune of losing the lid or one side of the sink. I wrote to Coflex and, while they do not sell the lids separately, they are arranging to send me one. I will continue to enjoy

Significant improvement over the standard strainer. The only thing that I am not real impressed with is something that was kind of expected which is when debris gets into the bottom of the strainer basket clogging the bottom holes of the basket, it takes a while for the water to drain from the sink. Still significantly better than the regular strainers!

The workmanship on this Strainer is good. The material is great, looks like other expensive ones out there. The problem is the thread is very short, and it only fits on stainless steel sinks. I have granite composite sink and of course it didn't fit. My sink was too thick, so the nut cannot screw into the threads. If you have stainless steel, then it's great. I ended up buying the Kraus.

I purchased this as well as the almost identical Kone unit (by accident). The main components are probably made by the same manufacturer but there are small differences in what is supplied in the package. This Coflex unit also includes the coupling nut to attach to your tailpiece (pipe). Also the packaging contains written instructions. Both are not included with the Kone. I have not installed yet this looks like a solid item.

Awsome sink basket. Don't have to med with all the food and stuff that clogs the drain. Deep basket catches everything. Dump basket, done.

First of all, we have a Corian sink, and this basket can not be installed because the sink material is too thick. This is mentioned in the product description, so my rating is not reflective of me disregarding their recommendations. The three stars is due to the quality of the product. As others mentioned, the material is very thin and the threads and nuts are plastic. I bought this because my old cast iron sink was so thick that the threads below the sink didn't extend far enough down for the nut to get a good bite. Problem solved. In spades. There is also a special gasket to be used above the porcelain which eliminates the need for putty. The basket is a nice touch and the plug works really well. No leakage. Worth every penny.

It’s pretty cool strainer. I still need to get up and install it! Ordered it by mistake. But it was cheap so I kept it. Scratches easily!

Super easy to install. Love the look of it. The basket is so much nicer to clean out than a standard drain. No tools or goop needed to seal it. No leaks so far. And it matches my new stainless sink perfectly.

I know it's just a sink basket strainer, but it really is much better than the "normal" basket strainers. This strainer catches more food than my last strainer, which was just a cheap brand purchased at the local superstore. Our plumber doesn't recommend a sink disposal since we're on a septic system. SO.we have to be extra careful about what goes down our drain.
