It stopped leaking and was splendid when I installed both polyethylene gaskets it came with instead of just one like it shows in the diagram.Made in China; Origin China

Awesome product. The deep cup helps traps a lot more debris than the sink baskets from Wal-Mart. Barring my bone headed mistake in the old sink removal, installation was easy. I ditched the white gasket for plumbers putty instead. Sealed good and no leaks.

The nifty little basket in the disposal makes clean up so easy. It even has a handle to help lift it out. I like this a lot. Thanks for attention.

This is a pretty great idea for a product, although the construction is pretty crumby.PROS: Basket is in fact stainless steel and so is the lid; the majority of the housing is also steel, but very thin steel. Does have a decent, sleek look though.CONS: The other parts of this item are plastic. The portion of this drain that connects to the p-trap uses a plastic compression fitting which was so flimsy the thread stripped out and popped loose when I would tighten it so I had to trash it.
