Review on Brabantia Ironing Board Solid Steam by Mike Walters

I looked at many ironing boards before deciding on this one. In short, a very strong and stable construction. Definitely recommend size - C, wide width. The ironing of shirts and trousers is greatly simplified and accelerated. I was a bit worried about the length (my previous ironing board was about 6 inches longer) but it turned out to be fine. Long enough for trousers. The back of the ironing board. Since I iron in a small back room next to the counter I didn't need it so I just cut it off. You can't tell from the ironing board (see photo). Agree it would be better if it could be detached but that's impossible - it's welded to the frame, it's also well constructed so if you need an iron holder you'll be happy with the quality. I think this is a quality product worth the price.
