Not sure if this would help with my big project but figured it wouldn't be a lot of money. I got it and it took about two minutes to activate and understand how to use it. A very functional zeroing option is great for creating random and repeatable angles. Very durable in my hands so I wasn't worried about abusing it. I have a 24" unit and that might be a consideration as it might be too big for tighter spaces/small projects. I'll buy another one for that money, but smaller and it has almost everything. I'm a fan of tools, but I think I'll use it more than other "special" tools I have.
