I am a DIY enthusiast. This tool works. I've tried others and it's so easy and accurate at the same time. I've had it hooked up to my 2015 WRX for over two months now. It takes forever to read a battery's cold crank status. That is, when the engine is off, it just keeps checking, but to no avail. Reading the reviews I came across the reviewer (D Lynn). He wrote about his problem, which was exactly the same as mine. Coincidentally, when I put the key in my car and turned on the ignition, my car went off. The car would just die. I mean the loss of all power, as if the car was stationary. I think autofix has a quirk or bug. I removed it last night after my car died around 9:15pm. The restart took longer than usual. At first I thought it was the battery so I bought a new battery which cost me over $200. Then I thought it was winter cold at 15`. It wasn't the battery, it wasn't the cold, frosty winter morning. I'm in the car going back to when it started and remember when it started after installing obd11. I removed it from the car and the key fob worked again and the car started immediately. I think it's best for older cars.
