A good and high-quality product, but there are disadvantages.

In general, a very positive device. From all tested by me in a close price category
PENTAX K series Kit (very poor photo quality, and not Full HD Video)
SONY Alpha 290, 390 Kit (not bad, but I would like a video).
CANON EOS 550D Kit (They were unreasonably expensive with almost the same parameters of the Nikon D3100 Kit),
FUJIFILM Expensive and lying colors (embellishes by increasing the contrast, as a result, in some photos there is darkness under the eyes).

Pros

Shows true colors, unlike Fujik for example. The photo quality is quite good, the main thing is to choose the right shooting modes. Pleased with the quality of the video in full HD.

Cons

Weight - I would like a smaller and more comfortable grip. Some buttons are not very well located, but this is my opinion. Lack of Autofocus on video shooting (not suitable for shooting at different distances). The whale lens is rather weak - a normal universal one costs about half the cost to its full cost, if you take a second lens, then with a frequent change it is fraught with killing the matrix.
