Review on Double-Sided Carpet Tape For Indoor Use By IPG, 1.88 Inches X 36 Yards (2-Pack) by Jason Maciel

I am mostly pleased with the results

I have three floor mats in my kitchen and my kitchen floor is wood. Despite having a "non-slip" backing, the mats never stay in place. Extremely frustrated, I was threatening my husband that I was going to glue the things to the floor! I found this tape and given the reviews I decided to give it a try. I am mostly pleased with the results. I lined each mat with six full length strips of this tape (probably over kill but I was desperate!) and they haven't shifted a millimeter! The only issue I have is the corners of one mat are continually curling up but that is most likely due to the fact that that mat is in a highly trafficked location. I've stomped down on the corners so much that the tape underneath has lost is adhesiveness and they simply won't stick down to the floor any longer. I plan to add more tape to the corners to see if that fixes the problem. But all other mats with this tape on them have stayed and that was my largest complaint. Overall, I am quite pleased with this purchase.

Pros
  • Adhesive Tapes
Cons
  • The tape may not hold up well over time, losing its adhesive quality and causing the carpet to come loose
