Too bad I have to believe the description. It took about 4 weeks to assemble the chair as the chair was sent to me with the missing piece. They sent me the entire second chair which I had to send back except for one missing part. The chair was ok initially, quite comfortable, although not so much after an hour. I'm 6ft 4in and 290lbs tall and tall but fit for a chair. I noticed a gradual lowering of the seat due to the piston. A little over a year ago (purchased April 2019) the piston fired and I was stuck in a chair I can't sit in for more than 5 minutes. I came to the Laz-Y-Boy brand thinking it would be a quality product, but I've had that experience before. .Honestly, no different than lesser-known brands. I had the same experience with a chair I bought in a store under the generic name. The price was much lower. Think twice before shelling out extra money for a big and tall or Laz-Y-Boy - the chair doesn't hold up any better than a regular office chair.
