The label amuses me that the cap is very durable. It literally fell apart in my hands like it was about to crumble. These filters are of very poor quality. Even plastic packaging looks cheap. Each of the canisters appeared to be made of cheap plastic, and two of them were broken. The rejection rate was 89.3% with a very old filter set (new to me at home), brand TCF GE, 36 GPD. Replaced TCF with Dow 50 GPD. The new bounce rate is 91.4%. Not good. I almost want to replace them now. I'm afraid the build process leaves behind toxic chemicals or glue that were no doubt located in a facility that wasn't exactly OSHA-approved or ISO 9000-certified.
