Let me start by saying that without these babes my Thanksgiving trip would have been a complete failure, but as it stands today, it saved my feet!* Bought a pair for me and my husband are small for me (I wear size 7 light walking shoes) and XL for him (he wears size 13 walking shoes). Both fit great. * Worn for the first time while hiking Mount Baden Powell at Angeles National Foprest on Thanksgiving Day. There was pack ice on the way and we walked two sections very unsteadily until I put these little ones on. Once they were on, walking on ice and mud was like walking - I felt completely safe. a lot* It frizzes a bit, but not for long, and it's so easy to put on and take off, so I adjusted it with some extra compensation midway (above).* Because of the rubber and low-profile lugs, they are it flexible enough to fit in a zippered pocket and toss in a backpack. * Value for money is very high!
