Excellent for traction on hard and soft, icy tracks and trails.

Great grip so far, easy on and off. With one caveat I have ordered the next size up as I will be wearing these rubber bottomed insulated winter boots. Boots 12EE. I think that when ordering, you consider the volume of the boot, not the shoes, hiking shoes. Also glad I ordered an orange after hiking through uneven fields, one of which was rolled in ice and 1/2 foot of snow. I didn't notice until I reached what turned out to be about 100 feet away. The next day the orange was easy to spot! It's…

Big improvement over Yaxtrax

I live in northern Michigan and it's been a very freezing winter so far and had two bad falls. I have resisted using my Yaxtrax because they are very difficult to put on, don't hold up well, get stuck in my mats and don't grip the ice very well. Anyway, I decided to look elsewhere and stumbled across Revain. What an improvement! I tried them on slick ice yesterday and had no problems with slipping. They were easy to put on my boots and held up really well on the ice. And I can stand on carpet…

It's worth it! on Footwear, Jewelry & Watch Accessories

Let me start by saying that without these babes my Thanksgiving trip would have been a complete failure, but as it stands today, it saved my feet!* Bought a pair for me and my husband are small for me (I wear size 7 light walking shoes) and XL for him (he wears size 13 walking shoes). Both fit great. * Worn for the first time while hiking Mount Baden Powell at Angeles National Foprest on Thanksgiving Day. There was pack ice on the way and we walked two sections very unsteadily until I put these

Probably won't buy again

Most people complain about the size. I won't be here, they fit well. I care about the functionality. Pros: Excellent grip. They hold the ice really well and the metal spikes are embedded in so much rubber that they won't pop out anytime soon. I can't say anything about the durability of the rubber yet. Dislikes: Very loud. It's like walking in slippers. They really are too loud and way louder than some of the more minimalistic cleats I've used over the past year. What I don't like at all…

Better safe than sorry

If you live in an area with little or lots of snow and ice in winter, be smart and buy a pair of stabilizer bars for you and every member of your family. the family. A few years ago at work I fell on the ice in the parking lot and ended up in intensive care because I was afraid I'd injured my back again. Thankfully I didn't have it, but the pain, stiffness, and fear of falling made me think about finding a product that would prevent those nasty falls. Well it's been a few winters and I forgot…

I am impressed. Detailed Review Stabil-icers

I originally bought treads from another brand but when they arrived I wasn't impressed. They looked like I would fall if I walked on ceramic tile or regular concrete. After some thought, I haven't even tried them. Instead, I bought these Stabil-Icers. When I received them I definitely thought they would keep me on my feet that much better. But I was worried because they were metal spikes. And metal on concrete. not much. The great thing about these metal studs is that the metal is rounded. So…
