The dimensions on the belt indicate the correct size for the Hoover FH51001 but both belts have slack causing the belt to be too slack for the motor to engage the brushrolls could. When the belt tried to turn, it slipped and caused a lot of friction that quickly made the belt brittle. The last few straps I tried on at AMZ were tight and felt dry and brittle, and I quickly used up three packs of them. On the contrary, they're loose, so while they're easier to install, they're not really any better as they don't fit well. Both products are made in China. The search for a replacement belt for this model is ongoing.
