Quality: Poor and cheap. The antenna doesn't stay upright, it falls down because the screws are loose, and it's cheaply made. ----Performance: I installed on a CB mobile radio, which is not a good start. I was able to pick up a signal from a friend about 1/4 mile away, much clearer than the original antenna. Anything over 1/4 mile forget it unless you are in an open field. ----- Recommendation: Spend a little more and get a better antenna, stronger and more durable. This thing looks like it belongs in my dad's 1970's AM radio in his garage.
