Misleading LED rating/poorly implemented USB port

The packaging also says "LED 14W". Of course you would expect an LED bulb to be rated at 14W. But that's not the case. According to my power meter, the actual power consumption for this lamp is: - Maximum brightness: 6.6W - 6.9W - Minimum brightness: 1.0W - Standby: 0.5W 6.1 - 6.4 watts, not even half of the proposed "14 watts". . But where does this number "14 W” come from? As it turns out, the power supply is rated for 15V 1A, which means that the maximum input power of the table lamp is 15W, including power for the LED lamp and the USB port. The USB port is rated at 5V 1A but very poorly implemented. When charging my cell phone, the output current initially starts at 1.2A. But within a few minutes the output voltage drops to 4.7V and the output current to about 1A. Apparently the USB power converter inside overheats and loses regulation. As you can see from the picture I uploaded, the output power is 4.72V x 1.01V = 4.8W and the input power is 9.9W. That means the power dissipation in the converter is about 5W. After only 5 minutes of operation, the back of the lamp unit near the USB port is already uncomfortably warm. I'm really worried that if I charge my phone for too long, the power converter will eventually burn out. For now I will only use it to charge my Fitbit or wireless headphones. Conclusion: As an LED table lamp, this device works quite well. However, I cannot recommend it due to the deceptive LED rating and poorly implemented USB connector.
