I have a 20 year old steel Stanley thermos that I use almost every day to bring tea to my office. A lot of dirt has accumulated in the thermos. The mouth is too small for a normal bottle brush, so I looked for a suitable brush. This one fits almost perfectly. It fits in the mouth, the bristles are stiff enough to clean the inside of the thermos, and it's long enough to easily reach the bottom of the thermos (32 ounces). My only concern is that the handle is designed to flex. In fact, this is good in many situations. In this particular application, brushing the sides does not allow me to put as much effort into the sides as I would like. The brush still works and works well, but I prefer the inflexible handle. But for the price I can easily exchange it.
