I have chosen to order these filters online for fast shipping rather than running to my local Lowe's store to purchase similar filters. I will be returning to Lowe for my next set. I have hard well water with iron and sulphur. I have a whole house filtration system that works best with carbon filters to remove taste and odor. These filters didn't even last two weeks before the smell returned and my iron shower turned orange. If you're just filtering the basics out of the water they might work, but they're definitely not top quality and they're not removing anything serious from the water like things that might give off an unpleasant taste or smell.
