I have just received this camera and am very pleased with how easy it was to set it up and start shooting. Ultimately, I plan to use it for security purposes and this requires additional configuration on my part. Connecting the ribbon cable to the Raspi was easy enough, the connection seems secure. I then booted up my device and accessed it via SSH. Enabling the camera feature is easy - run `sudo raspi-config` then select 5) Interface Options --> P1 Camera. Select "Yes" then return to the main screen, exit and reboot. After reconnecting via SSH I was able to run "raspistill -o test.jpg" to capture the image. I copied that with scp. The image was originally upside down due to the camera orientation, so I took another shot with the vflip option `raspistill -vf -o test.jpg`. The resulting image is attached. Image quality appears to be good, although there was relatively little light and some backlighting in my situation. Anyway, I'd love to keep playing with it!
