Review on 🐴 Full Black Shires Fly Mask with Fringe Ears and Fine Mesh by Chris Murphy

I love my new Shires Fine Mesh Nose Fringe. Many fly masks are too thick for a good view of the horse. This also results in restricted airflow around the eyes. Although the fringes are not intended to protect from the sun, they do provide good sun protection over the nose. I have had mosquito full face masks for my beautiful horse but the mesh gets covered in dirt and nasal discharge and becomes impervious to airflow and actually impedes airflow for easy breathing. This mask is a guard, although unfortunately my horse likes to rub one side of his snout when rolling, and so there is a hole in the mask just above his eye that allows those damn flies direct access to his eye. Overall it's light but very strong, with excellent padding around the bar. My horse seems to like it when I dip it in a trough of water, let it dry a little, and then put it in a damp spot on a hot day.
