Review on ๐Ÿ”น STADEA Diamond Hand Polishing Pads - 7-Piece Set for Stone Concrete Granite Marble by Mark Harris

For my project, this worked better than an electric wet mill!

We started remodeling our kitchen last summer. 1/2 of the kitchen counter was done last summer and I used an electric grinder. It was a complete mess and I couldn't get the disc to the corner of the tabletop. An electric wet grinder might be ideal if you work outside, but the project is similar to ours, the countertop spills over the top of the cabinets, the electric grinder doesn't work as well. So for the rest of the kitchen countertops we decide we are going to use a hand mill. I ordered Diamond hand polishing pads. Last summer, but we didn't have a chance to use them until this weekend. Finally we can fill the rest of the kitchen with a concrete countertop. We started using these hand buffs last week. I have used both electric and hand buffing wheels on the same project and can honestly say that when it comes to grinding indoor concrete, hand grinding is superior to electric grinding in many ways. I will list the pros and cons of using manual polishing pads. You have much better control over which area needs additional sanding/polishing. Much easier to clean. You can go section by section and clean as you go. The corner of the tabletop where it connects to 2 walls can be easily sanded/polished. Ideal for repairing previous poor sanding/polishing work. PadsConsThis is a guide! As expected, this will take some time. These small dots on the diamond pad leave lines. Working in a circular motion with less pressure will work better. If you do a lot of work from start to finish, some numbers require more than 1 block, but you cannot order individual blocks. My project #50 wears out before I've finished the entire surface. So I ended up using #100 and finishing the area where #50 wasn't touching. Then walk over the entire area of #100 again. I have a sink under the bracket and the contour around the sink is curved. It's a little tricky to grind/polish a curved area with a square bar. Note: When grinding/polishing, the surface must be wet. Keep a water bottle near your work area. You will really need it.
