Review on WD Red Pro 10TB NAS Internal Hard Drive - 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, CMR, 256MB Cache, 3.5" - WD101KFBX (Previous Model) by Guled Probz

They are noticeably louder than my old 4TB Reds but they seem to perform slightly better. My NAS used to fit easily in my media cabinet, but now it's so noisy I have to move it somewhere else. Mostly vibration and search sounds. I think it's a compromise to keep a 4-bay NAS, but it requires more space. If I started from scratch, I would end up with more bays and smaller, quieter drives.
