I wish I could give 0 stars for 'easy installation'. Terrible instructions, clearly translated by Google from Chinese or something. They expect you to work with both hands above your head as the fan hovers there. Not to mention that it was much larger than we expected, it's our fault, I think we didn't visualize the measurements well. Best suited for a large room or living room with high ceilings. We have 2 switches in the room and keep the remote control next to the bed. Every time you turn on the light it beeps loudly, it really sucks in our bedroom, why would anyone honk the horn on the light!? While we've never had an issue, when the two light switches aren't in sync the light won't turn on and you have to stand there and move the switch up and down, pausing between each press as it doesn't t turn on immediately and then BEEP the light is on. Another thing, out of habit of living in a first world country, when I flip the switch I keep walking, well, sometimes I take 2 or 3 steps into the room before the light actually comes on. I do NOT recommend this fan. My husband refuses to return it what a pain it was to install so I'm stuck with a huge squeaky slow turn on light.
