I pre-ordered this processor and received it on release day starting with i7 4790k 4th gen it's a big leap it's a great processor he copes with everything I did very well, only reaching 70 ° C while playing with an average of 64 ° C. Even better, it has PCI-E 4.0 support and I got an extra 20-30 fps with my RTX 3080 in Modern Warfare (160 fps on average with everything on Ultra and ray tracing enabled). Highly recommended for upgrades. Other thoughts: Ignore those 1 star reviews, they probably don't even have one, and if they do, it's probably one of the leaked ones before the final release that didn't have fully updated code (so why was the tag release, though retailers they had). They're just trying to discourage people from buying them for any reason. It's not fair to review and judge things that haven't even come out yet, even if you've bought them in advance. The only people who should be rating things like this are the people Intel hired them to do.
