Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

Normal pebble, works with a bang! It is more realistic to assemble a system on this socket than on the very last one! 10 years is enough I think))

    Pros
    • 11 generation, 8 cores 16 threads, for modern tasks, that's it!
    Cons
    • Really hot, when choosing, you need to prepare a good cooling for it! I wish it were cheaper!

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

To make sure that the part is new and working, I had to contact the service center for verification, since I didn’t have the opportunity at home

    Pros
    • works, new
    Cons
    • Package The seller believes that the “oem” package is two pieces of foam rubber with elastic bands, I attach a photo

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Most of all, the presence of Gear1 / Gear2 caused bewilderment. Now, when overclocking memory above 3733, it only works in Gear2, single-threaded performance drops, and latencies increase greatly. Performance also drops, you need to overclock the memory further and further. Otherwise - quite adequate performance, memory G. SKILL 3600 CL14 14-14-14-32 Faster than the 10th generation by an average of 15-20% in all tasks that I managed to try. For overclocking and a stable increase in…

    Pros
    • Fast, cold, regardless of consumption
    Cons
    • Innovations Gear1 / Gear2 when overclocking the memory did not please at all ATTENTION! Some mat. Asus/ASRock boards on the z490 do not support gen 11 and will not support it due to savings on power design in the past generation. Be sure to check the availability of bios with 11gen support on the manufacturer's website. fees, and if there is none, never buy their products again.

    Can't install graphics or sound

This is an i7. I can't tell you how much better it is than the 10 series, but it's a nifty system. But I have a serious problem. I bought it for integrated graphics/audio and I can't install drivers from Intel. Very annoying lack of graphics or sound. Thanks to Intel for ruining everything. Edit: I ended up with an old graphics card for audio and video. So I probably won't try to integrate again. Now the system runs smoothly.

    Pros
    • Great for a small home
    Cons
    • Slightly dented

    Exactly what I needed.

I know there are a lot of negative reviews about these 11th Gen Intel chips but right now this is exactly what I need. My computer died. I installed this chip on an Asus board and had no problems except that my old graphics card died after a few weeks. Intel saved the day. I can't play my entire Steam library, but I can use a good 85%. I can do everything else I normally do without overheating or slowing down. Now I can wait a little longer to see if the graphics cards go on sale.

    Pros
    • Absolutely amazing!
    Cons
    • May damage

    Stable. Overkill for most people

Great for gaming. Even if AMD outperforms it on multi-core workloads, that doesn't mean it's a bad processor. This is a stable reliable processor. And most importantly, it's available. In games, it trades beats with my Ryzen 5800x. So I didn't encounter any bugs or glitches. That's what you get with Intel. Stability. If you're just gaming, I'd say that's not an option. But my wife uses a workstation application and the extra cores save her time. I'd say it's a niche processor and very few will…

    11th gen - PCI-E 4.0 - Great processor

I pre-ordered this processor and received it on release day starting with i7 4790k 4th gen. It's a big leap, it's a great processor and it is handles everything I've gotten along with it very well, only getting a max of 70C while gaming with an average of 64C. Even better, it has PCI-E 4.0 support and I've had it with my RTX 3080 in Modern Warfare an additional 20-30 fps (160 fps on average with everything on ultra and ray tracing enabled). Highly recommended for upgrades. Other thoughts…

    Tech support is rubbish

So, I had a massive handwritten "Advanced Detection" sticker on the box. Revain said to contact Asus and Asus says they never installed anything like this. What ever. I opened the box, the motherboard was obviously already open. I could tell from the fingerprints and the hair in the box. Pooh! Anyway, I have everything set up on my system and what we have here is that I can only run one drive at a time. (THIS IS MY BOOT DISK ONLY) I contacted Asus support and they said they couldn't help me so…

    11th gen - PCI-E 4.0 - great CPU

I pre-ordered this processor and received it on release day starting with i7 4790k 4th gen it's a big leap it's a great processor he copes with everything I did very well, only reaching 70 ° C while playing with an average of 64 ° C. Even better, it has PCI-E 4.0 support and I got an extra 20-30 fps with my RTX 3080 in Modern Warfare (160 fps on average with everything on Ultra and ray tracing enabled). Highly recommended for upgrades. Other thoughts: Ignore those 1 star reviews, they probably…

    Cons
    • No performance

The 11th Gen i7 11700K sits between the budget i5 and budget i9 11900k. I think at this price point (I bought it pre-launch for $399) it's a good product. It's cheaper than the 5800X, has very similar performance, and is a lot more fun to overclock. Rocket Lake (11th gen) supports dedicated core overclocks to balance the top two cores and other cooler cores. It can also draw slightly more voltage than Skylake++++ (1.45V load voltage is probably safe according to the Reddit AMA), although…
