Review on 🌬️ ARCTIC Alpine 12 CO - Efficient CPU Cooler | Intel 115x & 1200 | 92mm PWM Fan by Ae Rim Ra ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

I was looking for a cooler heavier and better than the standard BOX, but with the same simple mount. Chose this model based on reviews. So far not disappointed. At the same speed with the BOX cooler, the core temperature is lower by 8 degrees. For lovers of silence: all the coolers that I came across (including this model) still have a very slight "hum", which disappears when you press your finger on the middle of the cooler or when you attach "ballast" to the cooler. To solve this problem, I glued a 12 cm fan at 800 rpm to the top of the CPU Cooler with double-sided tape. He improved the airflow of the motherboard and, most importantly, removed this slight "hum". Now only a quiet (21dB) hard drive is barely audible.

Pros: Noiseless, adjustable speed automatically over a wide range. The thermal paste has already been applied. Different cons: Some troubles with fastening to the board. I figured it out for a long time.
