Used in my 5 gallon Marineland. I put it in a hidden filter housing and it's so small it fits perfectly. Keeps the tank at a stable level of 77/78 degrees. There is no temperature control, it turns off automatically when the tank reaches 78. Comes with a thermometer and so far works great for my planted nano tank. Fish and plants thrive. It has suction cups. So if you put it directly in the aquarium instead of hiding it in a filter housing like I did, it's small enough that it won't ruin the aesthetics of your aquarium. As you can see in the picture, my 5 gallon filter is so small that I can easily fit it into the filter housing. I ordered another one for my 3 liters. Very happy with the purchase.
