The double backing of the numbers is very clever and makes it easy to position them exactly where you want them nice and straight. However, the instructions that come with the kit are not that clear. There is an extra sheet of small white stickers. Take one of the stickers, place the number where you want it, then attach it with the sticker at the top or bottom. The sticker acts as a loop. When you're done, take the number on the opposite side of the sticker and fold it back over. Then remove the foil from the back of the number and carefully fold it into place using the hinge. Use the included polisher on the faceplate to firmly press the number so it adheres, then remove the faceplate from the number and loop sticker. Voila! It's probably best to position and insert all the numbers first, using foil to align the edges and get even spacing. Simple and fun.
