Before purchasing this Atomic 2.0 I already had a Gamma Voltage racket. One of the reasons I bought the Atomic was to want a heavier paddle. And that doesn't matter. My tension weighs 7.7 ounces. and the atomic weighs 7.9 ounces. (actual weights). The Atomic wood's surface is a bit more textured and should be able to bite the ball harder to generate spin. The biggest difference I can see in a real game is the improved grip. what I like. That being said, I like both petals, with the flush hem being a differentiator.
