I liked the price and LOVED the spin I was able to generate.

Gamma I'm excited. I'm staying with Voltage and bringing Atomic back. I don't care about the new grip. I missed the tension grip combs. Didn't notice any weight difference. I loved the price and spin I was able to generate with the textured surface, but I just didn't have the "touch" that I feel with the Voltage.

Unfortunately I recommend you avoid this company

Product seemed good. Good stop. Beautiful frameless design. But after only about 12 games, the face is already worn and cracked. To make matters worse, I've attempted to contact Gamma Sports a few times for service and have never received a response. This is not a cheap racquet and I understand that things can go wrong but lack of service is a deal breaker. I can't convince you to stay away from this product and this company. Good looking products not backed by quality or service. Avoid.

Great Racket - Pickleball

Before purchasing this Atomic 2.0 I already had a Gamma Voltage racket. One of the reasons I bought the Atomic was to want a heavier paddle. And that doesn't matter. My tension weighs 7.7 ounces. and the atomic weighs 7.9 ounces. (actual weights). The Atomic wood's surface is a bit more textured and should be able to bite the ball harder to generate spin. The biggest difference I can see in a real game is the improved grip. what I like. That being said, I like both petals, with the flush hem…

Great racquet but not tournament legal

When I received this spatula in the mail I was surprised at how rough the surface was. I was excited to get some really good spin shots. I took it to court and tried it and I really liked the way it felt. I was in a tournament with my friend and brought this racquet to our first game and we were told it was illegal and didn't conform to the official code. It was a pretty big crap. I still use this racquet a lot when I go play, but not when preparing for a tournament. After prolonged use, I've…

Singles, not doubles, non-finesse power

As a 4.0 singles/doubles player, I tend to hit really hard. Most polymer-core blades are focused on touch and feel, which means they lack power. The Nomex core gives the Atomic 2.0 a lot of power. However, in the network, the core causes difficulties in the game. I've tried several racquets under $75 and the Atomic has proven to be the best of them all, but it has limitations. My partner bought a paddle for $160 and the feel is very different and frankly much better. The Atomic does a great job

The Perfect Pickleball Paddle

I did a lot of research before deciding on this racket. Based on the information I found, I decided that the best paddle for me would be a medium weight, small handle, long handle, and regular sized (not oblong) face. swing to get enough power behind you. Too heavy, it would be uncomfortable, my arm would tire more quickly. Small Handle - I'm a petite woman so the small handle allows for better control and is easier to hold. Tennis left hand. This gives me a little more power and control as I…

  • No Performance

I've only been playing for 8 months and have only played with Paddletek Phoenix Pro. I missed a lot of shots and now I haven't missed anything. My biggest enemy right now is my footwork and mental play. I got comments like "You are so FAST" and "I don't know how you do that?" and "How do you generate so many SPINs?". To be honest I put everything into this paddle. I have table tennis experience and this racket weighs about the size of a table tennis bat. I give it to my wife and get a Neutron…

Might as well be a wooden racquet

Just missed the return deadline on this product but will definitely come back and refrain from buying if you're trying to play consistently. The outer material is not very durable - almost like ceramic or plaster. I play 2-3 times a week and have tried many rackets. This is a very high price compared to what you could get at a similar price. Simple pros and cons: Pros: - The textured surface really helps with turning. You can get some great stunt shots. WHEN you hit the target - the honeycomb…
