Singles, not doubles, non-finesse power

As a 4.0 singles/doubles player, I tend to hit really hard. Most polymer-core blades are focused on touch and feel, which means they lack power. The Nomex core gives the Atomic 2.0 a lot of power. However, in the network, the core causes difficulties in the game. I've tried several racquets under $75 and the Atomic has proven to be the best of them all, but it has limitations. My partner bought a paddle for $160 and the feel is very different and frankly much better. The Atomic does a great job handling the ball, but lacks the ability to score accurately or land effortless third shots unless you practice relentlessly. I highly recommend this racquet for specific games against specific players, but in a doubles situation with a lot of dinners and games in the kitchen there are better racquets out there. For everyday play this might be the best racquet out there, but in tournaments you might as well spend the extra money and be done with it forever.
