Bought a second pair of these boots today. My previous pair (which I'm wearing as I write this) lasted me a little over 3 years. I first bought them for riding and then quickly switched to casual shoes. They have served me well and even survived a motorcycle accident. -- The bike pinned my foot to the ground and dragged me along for 50 feet. The nylon sleeve wore out at the ankle's ball joint, but the padding and underlying material held up. After 3 years the outer shell of the vinyl cuff at the top of the boots has worn down to the mesh holding the fabric. together. Aside from those two things (worn vinyl cuff and nylon side torn apart from road rash) the boot has held up great and is still very comfortable and wearable.
