Review on Mr Batt Rechargeable Batteries 1600MAh Battery by Cathy Khan

The charger works with my Duracell batteries which I have owned for several years. It's just that it takes over 10 hours to charge since they have a capacity of 2450mAh instead of 1600. However, I doubt the claimed 300mAh power output for charging AA batteries as it takes about 10-20% longer to charge the batteries than it mathematically should be. replaced my westinghouse 1.2v 300mah solar lights with crappy Mr. Butt 1600mah AA batteries and the run time is amazing all night. Although solar charging cannot fully charge batteries, it takes several days to fully discharge them. But I wanted to test charging and it takes over an hour to charge 300mah batteries with a 300mah charger output. That either means they overestimated the charging capabilities and performance, or the cheap batteries I have have significantly more power. But given that my old 2450mAh Duracells also take 10 hours to charge instead of 8 1/4, I have a feeling the charger is just mislabeled as it seems to charge anything with 250mAh on the AAA output . The battery and charger work great otherwise. and just knowing you're charging 250mah AA batteries gives you more control over charging times. A larger battery will need to be charged overnight, so the smaller ones should be charged before unplugging the larger ones overnight if you are using them for a trip. The USB phone charger is great to connect to the charger as my output voltage is 5.2V 2.1A. It conforms to the charger requirements and everything will be charged and stop charging when full. The only thing I wish for is a UL certification for the charger. Anything that requires several hours of power to charge and is likely to be left uncontrolled would be desirable to obtain confirmation from a third party that it is not a fire hazard which could lead to abuse or serious use and continue for a long time. That's really the only thing they could do to improve the product for me. So definitely recommend and a few notes as mentioned but otherwise a good buy and worth the price.
