Nice little radio but it doesn't work

I managed to get the radio to work several times but the sound stopped after about ten minutes. All directions checked. new batteries. tried again and again. I wanted it for a baseball game but unfortunately it ran out after a while and I put it in my pocket. Headphones inside or outside, it doesn't matter. Kind of disappointed. I don't see a timer function so I don't think it would. It's too late to send it back, so I'll get a new one.
