This compass is good for what it is, but there are a few drawbacks that spoil the impression of a good product. First, they claim it has an adjustment nut for quick adjustment, but that's not the case. It had wing nut adjustment, but it doesn't slip on the threads if you take the pressure off and try to cant the nut. I would expect the customization to get sloppy over time. Finally, the pen mounting screw is flimsy and the spigot in the pen holder is very loose, again making me wonder how long this will last. We will not talk about the quality of the pencil. As I said, that's fine with me, but I would prefer a higher quality tool.
