I’m delighted! The copy said it wouldn’t work with a hybrid, but it does! I’m using it primarily as a tachometer on my Toyota Prius Prime, and also as an altimeter, same display. It’s lightweight and a little rinky-dink, but was very easy to install. The ribbon cable makes it easier to hide than a fat round cable. I tucked the mounting foot into a handy crevice, simple! Alarms were a problem until I turned all off. It’s adaptable. Good buy, easy to use.
- Intuitive and Easy to Understand - The analog display of the tachometer has a needle that moves to indicate memory, so you can visually recognize the engine RPM values. The digital speed readout is easy to see at a glance, so you can concentrate on driving without looking down, avoiding distractions and even accidents caused by looking down at the dashboard. Some can also display various values such as speed, boost, water and oil temperature, and voltage.
- The ACECAR HUD is only compatible with vehicles that have OBD2 ports, which means that it is not suitable for older car models. This limited compatibility means that a significant portion of drivers cannot benefit from the advanced features offered by this digital speedometer
