These candles were a waste of time and money. I ordered them to fix a gaming headset (my all-time favorite) that is no longer made. When I received these plugs, I noticed that the Trrs (tip, ring, ring, socket) shanks on all five plugs were slightly bent. Not finding them here, I spent an hour (and quite a bit of frustration) soldering two different plugs, one at a time, to my $150 headset just to patch it up, although my soldering work was solid, the connection is in the jack / the controller was crap. Even after the repair I still had to wiggle and twist the plug in the jack to connect and when it was plugged in I got sound but no mic or mic but no sound. Again, my soldering work was reliable. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that not only were the shafts bent, but there were tiny hair-thin gaps between the poles (rings), and I can only conclude that the poor connection is due to the shafts being bent and not connected at all points in the socket correctly. PLEASE don't waste your time and money on this. They won't work at all. All I did with it was damage my headset even more.
