Will be updated after installation. Connected and immediately brightly lit, the controller also works. I don't know how to paint with my own hands yet, but I'll figure it out. Hopefully the PSU isn't too big for them but I'm planning on installing them in my living room later today and we'll see that **Edit** installed them and they've been running for 2 days now. They stick to the wall better than any other LED strip I've used and they work well. Nice color scheme and easy to deal with DIY buttons. Also, 36 feet went through most of my living room, further than I planned, but hey, that's actually good. The photographs are set in daylight and as dark as possible. So yes, they get MUCH brighter. A few flaws. 1. The power cord is only about 3 feet long, personally I would like it longer for my application of these LEDs2. no mic or music, personal complaint, easy to fix, won't complain
