I used this to replace the original factory sensor in my 2001 4Runner with over 260,000 miles on it. This sensor fits perfectly in the exhaust pipe without any modifications. The OBD-II status shows "OK" after it's installed and it's been working great for over 5000 miles. I hope it lasts another 1/4 million miles! For those replacing themselves, please prepare for a little effort to remove the old sensor. I've soaked mine in PB Blaster multiple times over several days, but it still won't budge with a good quality crow's foot and crusher. I ended up using a dremel to cut off the ring of the old pickup and then put a deep seated impact bushing on top of the pickup. I used an impact U-joint and an extension to slip my impact wrench in there to try and loosen the bracket. It still didn't start. I left the sensor back in the PB blaster overnight and then tried the same socket with an extended breaker (I think the gimbal spring may be taking too much load). Voila! unleashed the beast! I ride my gear in the beach, mud and snow so I wasn't shocked that it wouldn't come loose. All I can say is be prepared to be *very* pushy with the old sensor!
