Review on Sew Mini Treats Plushies by Klutz by Joe Lantz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cute kits. Lots of consumables. Some sewing skills required

A year ago my daughter asked me to buy her this set. She was five and I said no. She just turned 8 years old and I decided to give her a birthday present. She loves it. We have made ten parts from the kit and we still have many more materials to make. The manual is attractive and interesting to look at. The instructions are probably not enough if you have never sewn before. But if you know how to sew on a button, that's probably enough. I am an avid seamstress. My eight year old daughter cannot make them herself. I embroider the faces and help her cut out the pattern while she sews and stuffs the edges. I always have to do half the work. We had a lot of fun with them, but she wouldn't like it if I didn't help her. This kit is worth many hours of activity. Each piece takes an hour or two, and the amount of fabric you get allows you to get the most out of the material that shines in the book. I would say this is a good gift for a 12 year old. Or a talented 10-year-old.
