Avalanche probe broken on first use
Attention buyers! On the first day of an avalanche rescue course, the probe cable broke. Luckily it broke during a field exercise and not an avalanche rescue, otherwise it could have been fatal. I bought it thinking that BCA is a trusted and reliable brand that is a must have for this line of devices. This is clearly not true. I will buy a Black Diamond probe as a replacement.
