Compact, easy to install, and illuminate perfectly!Assuming my 2010 Samsung micro was designed with incandescent or halogen sockets, I anticipated there might be some flickering on the low setting - as reported by several reviews here: High setting was excellent, and low - more of a night light setting, but not as dim (in my case) as others have suggested - did produce almost imperceptible flickering. but contrary to several reviews my lights did NOT remain on when the light was switched to the off position.Will return to report status after a time, but initial impression is excellent!UPDATED 190808:Upon further observation, the step-down lighting level is significantly brighter than "night light” (more noticeable at night), and what I had believed to be flickering no longer exists: In short, these LED’s performadmirably at all light levels, and do NOT flicker nor remain lit at any level in the off position on my 2010 Samsung microwave!EMENDED 02/09/2130,000 hour life = 3.42 years at 24/7 use.These lasted less than 15 months, with no more than 6 hours per day, maximum. not even 3,000 hours (less than 10% or the stated life expectancy).
