I bought two of these and both were the same, nowhere near meeting spec. Brightness is obviously better than a 60W incandescent bulb but this listing claims to replace a 500W incandescent bulb. I measured power consumed on a watt meter and it came out to 31W. I installed it in a photo soft box and next to my 5000 lumen (40W) shop light and it is noticeably dimmer than the lower spec shop light (which consumes 40W, so as expected). These are junk. 2 out of 4 no longer work after 16 months. One was in a garage and couldn't have been used more than 20-30 hours total. The other was in my home and probably had more like 2-400 hours. Compare that the advertised life.These are not even very bright given the 6000 lumen advertised.I bought some 8000 lumen lamps at Costco (for the same price $30 for a two pack) that are at least 2-3 time brighter than these. Night and day in the garage between the two bulbs.

I will not recommend this product. I bought 2 of them 2 years ago. Both dead within 1 week of each other after using them for maximum 3,000 hrs… assuming I used them for 4 hours every day for the 2 years… which is far from being the case! Not sure how to reach the seller, so leaving the review because I feel like this should last much longer (>30k), based on what was advertised in the description.

I replace a regular lightbulb in my floor lamp with this one. It gives a white light instead of a yellow one, and lights the whole room up much better than the old one did. Since it’s LED, it will cost a fraction of what the old one used in energy.

I used it in my front pole light and was surprised how bright it was I am very happy with the light.I will order more in the near future.

My patio is 12’x15’ and the light brightens the entire area enough that we can sit outside at night. It is a little too bright but it’s ok. You can definitely not look directly at it as it hurts the eyes. I only wish they made this light a little smaller. It is 8” tall and it sticks out too far past the edge of the fixture.

I wanted more light in the garage, and I knew the opener could handle a 60w bulb. I just didn't realize how BIG this thing is! It will definitely NOT fit under any cover in your opener. As many other reviewers have noted, it is very bright. Performance is definitely not an issue.I am going to rock it for now, but I wish I knew just how big this thing was in comparison. I've included a picture so you can see if it will work in your application.

The bulbs have held up well over the last 15 months nice and bright but four of them failed contacted seller took immediate action after providing pictures. And mailed me replacement bulbs no questions other than the pictures. Very nice customer service and prompt service. UPDATE: 07/20/21 well the other 6 crapped out all at once. The four they sent me are still working but now I have to spend a fortune to get light back in my garage. 🤬

This is exactly what I needed. I can actually see in my garage now. Very bright. Evenly lights up the entire area. That's my review.

Most bulbs this bright are very wide and tall. This bulb is almost an inch shorter than most on the market, and it’s also half the width than most on the market which is better to fit large fixtures. Just don’t mistake it for a bulb that you can fix in a table lamp because it’s not going to fit with a lampshade, but then again that isn’t its purpose as these are designed for areas needing significant light. I brought this bulb in September 2020 it went out in January 2021 .I think for the cost of this bulb and it didnt last 4 month I will give it a rating of 0 I think I deserve a new bulb.

Man let me tell you this makes a BIG BIG BIG BRIGHT BRIGHT difference especially for when I do location work in darker conditions. When I put this bulb on my back deck my wife and kids were amazed at how bright it was now. I would have liked it to be a little shorter, yet it does what it needs to do.

Bought these 2 bulbs on January 4, 2021.they both burnt out by the end of February! Perhaps I got two bad bulbs, but I would not recommend.

Used one to brighten the office and two to brighten a garage . I didn't pay attention to the length description, so it is longer than the previous bulbs.

These lights are amazing. My garage had 4 60w bulbs in a square pattern. I replaced 2 with these bulbs because there were some dark corners in the garage. These bulbs totally flooded my garage with super bright day time light. My garage is now lit up like a painting spray booth. You cant even tell the other 2 60w bulbs are on. My only complaint is that they dont cast as much light straight down so they wouldnt be very good to put over a work bench or where you would like direct light. But like…

I haven't yet been to the property to use the 2 lamps that I bought to replace 2 R-40 indoor floods to illuminate the interior of the garage. Therefore my review will have to wait a couple of weeks more. Stay tuned.

Very bright light works awesomeI hav se only had it for a couple of months so not sure how long will last but it works great May not be compatible with all types of light fixtures.

Used in the farm shop - these with the lights on the bottom are better than the ones without the bottom lights for a large area like a shop
