These are pretty cool 😎

Kind of fun to install, I put them in and connected them fast to my geeni app. You can group them and run them as if it's one on the app. My kids like making them react to music. The white light is great and has a warm effect on my front porch. I used the 4th bulb inside above my TV.when it's blue, I swear it makes the picture look better.

Pros
  • Great for price. Good color. Better than Hue in my opinion and I have several of those.
Cons
  • Lights repeatedly disconnect and do not have any range for connection. Do not buy!

Cheap Crap. in my review

Cheap Chinese Crap. "You get what you pay for". This product is ok if/when it ever works, but save yourself the aggravation and skip this buy. It's nearly impossible to set-up Geenie products and there's no such thing as customer support. Just stick with Phillips Hue.

Not color changing - my new review

Not color changing, or at least the one I received was not. Shows model number GN-BW426-999 in the description. I actually received GN-BW926-999. Even though the box shows it as color changing, it is not. Kudos to Ebay, they immediately refunded my money.

Decent smart light: my feedback

Set up was pretty simple even though I had to download a new app for control. If you already use geeni products this won't be an issue. My other lights are set up through smart life and these work with them on Google home with no problem. I noticed these have a little less diffusion than more expensive options. In some color modes the individual LEDs are more noticeable. these do seem to have a wider color range than my other lights. Overall I'm satisfied and would buy more of these in the…

Disappointed best in my review

This was my second set and was unable to set it up. It kept asking me for "geeni” password. I tried it in different outlets and would receive the same response. Will be returning these.

I have these installed in the ceiling of my front porch. Most of the time I have it set to a shade of white so that it's just lighting up my front porch. On special occasions, I configure the to flash different colors or give other special effects. or just show a special color.The WiFi works well. The phone app works well. Stopped Working After 3 Months

I am highly disappointed in these light bulbs! I bought 8 of the flood light bulbs, 4 regular bulbs and 2 smart plugs from this company. After 3 months only one flood light, one regular light and the plugs are working. I’m not sure if I just received a bad batch but I am extremely disappointed in the poor quality of these bulbs. You get what you pay for.

I bought these to try to substitute for my HUE lights since they’re significantly cheaper but still had good reviews. I get a 4-Pack to put in my bedroom ceiling of my new house and try to sync them. They wouldn’t connect together so I try to do it individually but when I sync one and try to sync another the first one would mess up and all kinds of problems. Should’ve believed the reviews

Bulb doesn’t connect to the app. did every troubleshooting step, (router, app, etc) still doesn’t connect. Contacted customer support and they didn’t have an answer. I mean it is a cheap version of other products. So its expected.

Does not stay connected

Great features, price, and functionality, but they don’t stay connected to dual band 2.4/5G signal. When the signal is lost or interrupted (every couple of days for me), you then have to reconnect them individually, which then assigns them new names that disassociates them from any groups or schedules you may have had with any smart hubs.

Awesome colored lights!

Wow, these lights are so great, easy to setup and are fun to play with. Make sure, when setting them up that you only do one at a time and it's much easier that way. I gave google controlling mine!

Different colors in my review

Disappointed to find that the same bulbs from the same company ended up displaying a different color on the same setting.

Works well but not very bright.

Not very bright on brightest setting. It was easy to install. I didn't want to have to install another app, so I installed it with SmartLife instead of Geeni app, to see if that would work, and it did. Then, I added it to my Alexa devices and it works perfectly. No issues so far.

Easy to install but…

So I got these for my basement and wanted a colorful led Wi-Fi option. They are a pain to get them to all show up on your Wi-Fi. I got them like a month ago and they are still not all connected to my internet because they won’t be detected. The app also won’t detect them if they are blinking fast. The two I do have connected are really nice and give good light. Beware of connection issues. A good product but not great.

Idiot proof install

I thought I would have difficulty installing the lights cos My experience with some other brands is the Bluetooth can’t pick up separate lights when they are all so close together and all operate off one switch. Nope, Geeni light are genius. Just screw all the bulbs in and the app automatically detects the lights one by one for you. I even changed my wifi router and the app made the switch over to the new wifi relatively pain free. Tech support is also good.

Not hue lights, but 1/4th hue price! So not bad!

The only complaint I have about these lights is that 1% brightness is the equivalent to 30% brightness of my hue bulbs.With hue bulbs, you can dim VERY low and have them act almost as night lights… these lights realistically dim to about 30% of full brightness, so if you’re trying to keep them in during a movie or for low ambient lighting, anticipate them being fairly brightOtherwise, I’m pleased with my purchase

Light bulbs do not stay configured to the app and consistently disconnects from Alexa

I do not like that I have to reconfigure to the geeni app and that the smart bulbs flicker which is uncomfortable to the point of being annoying.
