Exactly what I was looking for at a great price

I received my Amir scale 500g/0.01g on 09/08/18. The scale arrived well packaged, on time, as described, complete with 2 pans, batteries and multilingual instructions. It's compact and just what I was looking for at a great price. I will be using this scale for making my own e-liquid so I need an accuracy of 0.01. I gave 4 stars only because of the following cons. General: β€’ The calibration mode automatically asks for a weight of 100 g. Unfortunately I found an answer suggesting that a 500g weight is needed so I bought it straight away to use the scale right away. Now I have to buy another weight and wait for it to arrive before using the scale. β€’ If I use both a 500g weight and a dime and a quarter, the scale is off very little, 500g shows 499.92g. Funny, I left the weight on the scale and it increased in 0.02g increments until it reached 500g weight, it showed 0.06g Lesson: read it quickly, but be sure to calibrate beforehand. Pros: β€’ I bought this device because I can disable the auto power off feature. It worked exactly as the seller stated in the answer section. β€’ Measures to hundredths of a gram as indicated in the "0.01" name. β€’ Has an automatic calibration function. Cons: β€’ Instructions do not tell you how to calibrate or change the auto power off feature. But this information is in the answer area β€’ The buttons have a porous metal surface that makes them difficult to read β€’ The scale needs to be calibrated, which is to be expected, but the vendor doesn't specify the required weight for the auto-calibration feature.
