The display in 0.01g increments does not mean that the scale is up to this level. +/-0.03g is probably the best estimate for measurement repeatability using this method. Works great and very accurate after calibration (requires 500g calibration weight, sold separately). Without calibration, it's still accurate, but off by about a tenth of a gram. For most people, this isn't a big deal, so calibration is only necessary for those who need an exceptionally high level of accuracy. Overall, for the price, I don't know if I've seen a better option for something this accurate.

This is an excellent scale for weighing small items you find in the kitchen or around the home (jewelry etc.). Platform for weighing, plus an additional cover for the entire device (although it only covers the top of the scale, not everything around it). I haven't had much luck with scales with touch buttons, so I was happy to see physical buttons that wouldn't be as buggy. I mainly use the "tare" function, but sometimes I change the units. Very impressed with this device for less than $15!

This is a real gem of a digital scale! The weigh platform is a roomy 4" x 4" square with plenty of room to fit in a cargo pant pocket. It's nice that the platform is square because instead of a small cover (which is there to protect the scale when not in use) it's fast. Received my scale yesterday and opened it this morning. First I checked the correctness. I'm not the right weight so I searched through all the unopened things to test this and only found 2 that I wanted to open. I took a bar of Dove soap out of the box and found it weighed 90.56g. This is inaccurate and you will need [1] calibration weight to fix it (not included in the kit) and [2] Use the undocumented calibration mode (turn on the device, then press and hold the MODE button until "CAL” is displayed).
