OK if you don't mind reading 0.03-0.09 g high

This is inaccurate and you will need [1] calibration weight to fix it (not included in the kit) and [2] Use the undocumented calibration mode (turn on the device, then press and hold the MODE button until "CALโ€ is displayed). I have 3 50g calibration weights and 1 100g calibration weight but no 500g calibration weight. So I would have to buy one for it to work properly. For accuracy I have compared the results of this scale to [1] a 9 year old 0.01g scale with a 100g capacity and [2] a brand new 0.001g scale with a 50g capacity. I have 5 different weighed items (1g or 1oz) plus 4 calibration weights (50g or 100g). The weight of 8 of the 9 scales I tested was 0.03-0.09g heavier than the other 2 scales. For example, he thought the calibration weight of 100g was 100.09g and he also seems to have problems with accuracy. For example, weighing an object weighing 1 ounce showed 32.50g, but when weighed again (after taring) it showed 32.52. And then weigh again, again 32.50. And when I wanted to photograph the 100g calibration weight, it was 100.10g (up from 100.09g before). I gave it 2 stars (instead of 1) because for many this is normal: maybe yours comes correctly calibrated, or you are satisfied with an accuracy of less than 0.01g Make sure to balance at zero begins). If you buy this scale for a claimed accuracy of 0.01g, you also need to buy a 500g calibration weight and get access to an undocumented calibration. mode (and assume that the undocumented calibration mode actually works). For me the accuracy just isn't good enough and I'll probably have to send it back.
